Since the beginning, we’ve been on a mission to create clean, clinically tested skincare from the sea. Born in 1996 in Malibu, California, we set a new industry standard—creating safe and effective seaweed-infused skincare with a holistic approach to wellness and self-care. Today it’s called clean beauty, but in our family, it is what it has always been–the belief that our connection to nature is essential to our collective wellbeing.

The ocean is our source and deepest inspiration. We formulate with seaweed—marine plants and algae—because it’s one of nature’s most powerful superfoods, rich in vitamins, minerals and nutrients.
